Instructor Positions
Photographic Center Northwest (PCNW) offers over 40 courses, classes, and workshops each quarter. We have a diverse student body of BFA candidates, Certificate students, professionals and hobbyists. We are looking for adjunct faculty candidates and instructors to teach classes and workshops in:
Digital photography
Color photography
Black and White photography
Ideas & Practice
Various workshops
Classes are typically 30 hours quarterly and workshops can vary from a few hours to multiple sessions. MFA and teaching experience preferred and for certain courses, required. PCNW is currently seeking a Social Media Intern.
PCNW seeks a motivated, creative, and collaborative Social Media Intern to assist and collaborate with the Marketing Manager with the execution of social media campaigns.

Interns will receive a $300 monthly stipend and the internship will comply with university standards where undergrad or graduate credit is offered in return. Preference will be given to those who are able to commit 4-5 hours/week and for at least two quarters (6 months) but we welcome longer engagement. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume to opportunities@pcnw.org with the subject line: ‘Social Media Intern’. Rolling deadline, but early applicants will be given preference. Photographic Center Northwest (PCNW) is an educational institution teaching people how to see. As a part of our mission we support the professional development of future artists, educators, and arts administrators. Our internships offer hands-on experience and connections to the staff and community that we serve. Generally internships are unpaid but hours can be counted towards college or high school credit when approved.
