Laura Hart Newlon

Laura Hart Newlon is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in photography, writing and sculpture. Newlon has recently exhibited work at SOIL (Seattle), Triumph (Chicago), Los Angeles Center for Digital Art (LA), Roots & Culture (Chicago), the Baltimore Art Fair (Baltimore) and LVL3 (Chicago), and has been awarded residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, The Wassaic Project, and ACRE. She completed her MFA in Photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013, and an MA in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Washington in 2010. Newlon lives in Seattle where she is an Associate Professor in the Art Department at Cornish College of the Arts.
