In 2011 the Photo Center NW started a new exciting partnership with the Orion Center and TELO Skateboards to work with at-risk homeless teens. TELO approached us about doing a program that utilizes skateboarding and photography as tools to get homeless teen engaged with the community. The program gave the at-risk youth an opportunity to design and create a skateboard, followed by an exhibition of their photographs. The Photo Center is looking forward to share those images soon through an exhibition and launch a new phase of the programs in 2012.
