This year’s annual benefit auction PHOTOLUST presents a remarkable selection of photographs depicting life in Latin America. From bustling urban scenes, to harsh rural realities these lives are interpreted uniquely by a diverse roster of photographers. Seth Thompson shares an intimate, colorful interior in a rural Mexican town and Adam Weintraub photographs a throbbing scene from a traditional parade in Cuzco, Peru. In Cuba, Claire Garoutte depicts a glimpse of everyday life through a moody black and white silver print while Carl Bower sheds light on the unsettling aspects of beauty pageants held in the deprived towns of Colombia.
